Head of Engineering

We are looking for a motivated individual to take a major role in developing Cupro’s foundational technology. You will also be responsible for designing plans for a first prototype of a novel system while overseeing the operation of existing equipment at our facility in South Boston for Summer 2024. This is a great opportunity to make a large impact in a short amount of time while being a part of a very early stage venture. We are looking for someone with mechanical engineering and design experience, and is generally handy. The ideal candidate is someone willing to wear a lot of hats while also being able to work in a small team to achieve goals efficiently. And, most importantly, being passionate and willing to learn.

Responsibilities:

- Maintenance of existing equipment
- Build necessary equipment or structures
- Design and build prototypes (CAD and physical)
- Technology and system process research/literature review
